Of elegant form, finely painted in vibrant shades of blue, with a long cylindrical neck rising from a gently curving body, flaring to a wide mouth, the foot splayed; the lower register decorated with a courtly scene of a man and woman kneeling before an official wearing finely painted robes, and his attendants, who stand before a decorative screen showing the sun above crashing waves, all set in a terraced garden with blossoming branches issuing from stylized rockwork, among high cliffs and swirling clouds; the neck decorated with a scene of warriors standing before a pavilion, in a terraced garden with stylized rockwork, the warriors wear intricately worked armour, in the centre one warrior stands in a dynamic pose with right hand raised and a sword hanging at his waist, looking towards a woman under a parasol, flanked warriors holding halberds, in the foreground, the tips of raised halberds can be seen above the top of a domed pavilion; a 'stone-wall' pattern border encircles the mouth; around the base of the neck, three single and one set of double lines mark were the neck meets the body, with a further patterned border around the foot; the base glazed.
