Enamelled inside and out in underglaze yellow and the exterior decorated overall with finely incised scrolling peony sprays on flowing stems, the interior rim banded with a flower head and triangulated cross-hatched lines, the exterior rim and footring incised with two narrow lines, the base with six character mark and period contained within a double line, all in underglaze blue, the footrim unglazed, the base glazed.
