Of elegant trumpet form, the tall sides sweeping up from a hexagonal base, decorated in rich shades of underglaze blue, the sides alternately decorated with a mountainous landscape scene or flowering branches, the wide shoulder with six pendant raised panels in the form of pendant lotus petals, each enclosing a spray of either peony, chrysanthemum, or apple blossom, the spreading foot with raised panels of upright petals, also enclosing a variety of blooms, the slender trumpet neck rising to a flared foliate rim, with six raised panels, all containing flowering stems, set with two gilt elephant head handles, the inner mouth rim decorated with a hawthorn and cracked ice border, the base glazed.
