The rounded gourd-shaped body rising from a ridged foot to a tall slender trumpet neck, the neck with two further gourd form sections above an everted ridge, decorated in vibrant shades of underglaze blue, the body painted with panels enclosing alternately archaistic bronze vessels and flowers issuing from rockwork, all between upright and pendant ruyi from the foot and shoulder, and stylized petal-shaped panels reverse decorated with blossoms and tendrils in white against a blue ground, the neck decorated with a band of upright stiff plantain leaves above triangle work and pendant ruyi, with tea-glaze ridges, the base with double ring.
