Of baluster form, painted with four oval panels depicting various scenes of a sage and his attendant travelling in a misty mountain landscape and a fisherman seeking directions (to Peach Blossom Spring?), reserved on a rich ground of Iznik‑type flowers, between a broad frieze of boatmen and figures by the banks of a river divided by swirling clouds at the shoulder and a continuous frieze of boats in a riverscape at the base, within two bands of Iznik‑type flowers at the foot and neck.
