Of wide cylindrical form, decorated in bright famille rose enamels, the body with a large foliate cartouche containing large pink peony blooms and flying dragonflies, set within raised border decoration and set against an 'orange-peel' ground further decorated with bamboo and floral sprays, a gilt fleur-de-lys border at the mouth rim and a stylised ruyi-head design to the foot, the curved handle set with a dragon head and moulded scales, the base unglazed.
