Each of round form with foliate rim and moulded sides, enameled in famille verte palette, the central roundel decorated with a jardinière filled with blooming and budding peony and rockwork, set within a double circle in underglaze blue, the gently sloping moulded sides decorated with twelve panels alternately containing a different scene; beginning at the top and following clockwise, the panels are decorated as follows: a miniature landscape scene with a large pine tree in the foreground; flowers arranged within rockwork; a fisherman within a watery landscape; a lady in green robes seated at a table in a garden gazing towards large red lilies; a further pine-tree landscape scene; peony sprigs arranged within rockwork; a lady in aubergine robes in a terraced garden gazing toward peony blooms; a boatman on a lake; floral sprays and a lingzi fungus arranged within rockwork; a watery landscape with a figure by the shore; a landscape scene with two buildings; and finally a lady in red robes seated outside in a terraced garden. Each of the panels outlines in underglaze blue, with a narrow band of triangle work in undergaze red between the panel and the foliate gilt rim, the exterior wall decorated with two floral prays in underglaze blue and red, the base glazed.
