Of pear shaped body, based on a European design, with a wide neck and short spout, flanked by a flattened C-shaped handle with a metal mount attaching a domed cover, decorated around the body in famille rose colours, with a pheasant perched on stylized rock work amidst large flowering and budding blooms, a little butterfly buzzing around; around the neck a wide foliate collar decorated with scrolling tendrils and flower heads on a blue ground below a band with floral cartouches reserved on a yellow honeycomb pattern, repeated above the foot, the handle decorated with a cracked ice and hawthorn pattern, the domed cover with a central large flower head surrounded by scrolling tendrils.
