Of square form with chamfered corners, with scrolling foliate border, decorated with a landscape scene, in the centre Shou Lao, the god of longevity, in his hands he holds a long wooden staff, at his right hand a deer stands erect on three legs, its front right leg raised, its gaze fixed on the sage; on the left of Shou Lao stand two figures, one, a boy dressed in a pink enamelled jacket appears to be offering something, the other, his right hand raised in supplication, gazes at the sage; behind the group to the right, a tree in blossom  issues from rockwork and behind the rockwork a distant blue mountain rises up into the sky in which hover two flying bats over a further blossoming branch, the bats and the blossom detailed in pinks and iron red enamels, the outer rim with a further scrolling foliate border, the base painted in the centre with a leaf spray in pink enamels, the rim and foot rim with metal banding.
